STATEMENTS TO THE BART BOARD OF DIRECTORS
We are committed to attending the BART Board meetings to make sure that the Board has an opportunity to hear demands from the people directly. Unfortunately, the time, date, and location of BART Board meetings has made them inaccessible to most of the folks who would like to be heard (including most of the people working on this campaign). We believe this is intentional on the part of the BART Board, and violates their commitment to holding public, accessible community meetings on the Oscar Grant shooting. Nevertheless, we urge anyone who is able to attend to join us in making public statements to the BART Board. The following are statements we have prepared and delivered to the BART Board:
